Thanx all....up and running....
Im up and running again. I don't know exactly what the fix was, but I did the following steps: Disconnected power cable from MOTU 828 and swithched voltage switch from 110 to 220. That did not work. Disconnected FW from MOTU then powered up, it worked! But when I re-attached FW cable would not power...

yes, it will power up disconnected from the computer....
I use a PowerMac G4
Mac OSX.2.8
the MOTU 828mkII will power up while disconnected to the computer.
Matter of fact my computer does not detect any of my firewire peripherals!
Does anyone know how I can remedy my situation?
