Hello people,

I changed my driver back to version 3.6.7.4 as well and now I'm happy with
latency. Drop from 11ms/23ms to 5ms/6ms (In/Out, 48kHz, 24bit, 256
samples).

CS 4.1.2 and MOTU 828mkII setting on 96k

Hi folks, until now I have recorded always 48kHz/24bit. Now I would like to try it with 96kHz/24bit. Question is, is there any proper order in which I should set things up, or it doesn't matter? I di it like this. 1. turn on MOTU 828mkII (its on 48kHz) 2. start Cubase Studio 4.1.2 (its back on 44.1k...

Hi timmytubby,

1) well, I don't use MOTU as a standard Windows Audio/MIDI Device but will try that at home

2) what is your samplerate and buffersize?

3) are you sure that you are not hearing/monitoring your MOTU inputs?

Regards, Dalibor

Hi people, don't look any further! Mystery is gone!!! I have installed newest driver from MOTU, which is supposed to be for Windows Vista 32-bit (but as stated it should work on XP Systems as well). I made factory reset on MO6 as well, just to make sure. And guess what? Out of the sudden, it works!!...

Ok then, first (problem) question: MIDI is way too slow. Am I missing something in setup? I have my Yamaha MO6 connected to MOTU 828mkII. Even changing of bank or sound needs about 1 minute. I forgot to mention that MIDI IN LED is always ON (when MO6 is ON as well). Is that correct? Should it flesh ...

one more question... are those rack-ears fixed, or are they removable?

Thanks a lot
