Controlling VCA-Tracks in DP with Avid Artist Mix
Hi there, I got a new Artist Mix, so far everything seems to work fine, but I´m unable to control my VCA-Tracks inside DP with the Artist Mix, Volume, Mute or Solo. Inside DP those tracks work fine. Anyone having the same issues?

Frame Problem
I am composing a sound track for a German movie. The shooting was done in 24 frames. Postproduction in Germany, however, works with 25 frames. Therefore, when transfer is done, one frame per second is doubled, resulting in 25 pictures. Composers and sounddesigners all work with 25 frames, one of whi...

Your movie to VHS
If I need a VHS with the movie on it, I do it this way: I bounce all the MIDI stuff to one audio track, so that I have the music audio track and the audio track I got from the Quicktime (using "Copy Movie Audio to Sequence). Now do a little mixing (the dialog and the music) and then I use "...

Behringer BCR 2000 and Stylus RMX
Anyone using the Behringer BCR 2000 for controlling Stylus RMX? I made the standard USB connection but the problem is, that anytime I quit and restart my DP project, the Behringer controls are all set to a default position and not to the actual values Stylus RMX is set, which I thing means that Styl...

An example: movie and sequence start time are both set to 10:00:00:00. Now I change only the sequence running time to 10:10:00:00 so that my music starts 10 minutes later with the picture, which also starts 10 minutes later (I left the movie start time at 10:00:00:00). But after Bounce to Movie the ...

Bounce to Movie Command
If you want to get the original dialogue back into the new bounced movie, you have to extract it before (copy movie audio to sequence) and include the new track in the bounce. This works great when the movie and the chunk start at the same running time. When I want to make my music to start later, t...
