Same here. The problem is kontakt 7.6.1.
Reverting to 7.6.0 stopped the crashes for me.

No, but you can use the “Edit Next Type” Key Command to cycle through layers (Volume, pan, pitch stretch, clips, etc)

Also, the output assignments are not "dynamic".

Found the solution to MPE with the Hydrasynth. It appears that the installation of DP11.1 toggled the input filter for Poly Pressure to off. Working fine now.
