Shooshie, Thanks alot for your super-in-depth response. That seems like a waaaaaaaaaaaay more intelligent way of doing things. It allows me to mix different songs the way they need to be, and label each track appropriately, saving lotsa time. I understand that chunks can be played seemlessly back to...

A Sensible Way to do this ? Am I doing it the moron way?
Hi, Thanks for reading! I'm trying to figure out a smart way to do the following: -Basically, I want to use DP to send audio out to four different amplifiers while I play a guitar and sing over it. My hope is that I can have all the songs, all properly mixed into four different speakers, play one so...

Missing (grayed out) Virtual Instruments!
So today when I attempted to load up a virtual synth, I noticed that most of them are grayed out and I cannot select them! I have no idea why, I havent relocated files or installed/uninstalled anything. The components are all still there where they should be. The list just shows a majority of my VI'...

Mastering Tips
Hey everyone, thanks for all the help, this site is an invaluable resource!
I'm looking for some general tips and info on Mastering.
I know there was a page somewhere on this board about it, but I can't find it anymore. Anyone know the link? Thanks very much.

MIDI CC ? Is there really no way?
I just want to assign some knobs on my O2 MIDI controller, nothing crazy.
Am I really unable to assign cc4 to the noise channel in Polysynth, for example? I hope I'm just an idiot. Thanks for your help!

I would also like to use this method to perform live. Right now my plug ins only work during playback. Thanks alot for you...
