Nice tip! I wonder why noone else has replied. If my old PC was working, this would probably have been a great solution for the crackling sounds.

Or if you are using a device that requires 44KHz SPDIF. I can use 44.1KHz on my XP computer most of the times but the clicks and pops are coming every 5-10 minutes or so.

Driver CD UltraLite problem

Has anyone else tried to install their UltraLite from the CD that came with the card? When I tried to install it the installation told me that files were missing. Talked to another guy in Sweden and he got the same problem. How is it even possible to ship a very expensive sound card with an installa...

It probably won't work at all. I've even tried to get mine working with a PCI firewire card with the Texas Instruments chip but it still pops and cracks every minute. Even if i was being threatened with a gun to the head, I still wouldn't buy an Ultralite.

Don‘t buy the crap if you plan on using a PC. Mine isn‘t working at all and if it dosn‘t work when I get the firewire PCI-card with a TI chip, ill throw the box out of the window.
