I saw in another post where you said the MOTU 8Pre could be clocked via ADAT.

I have an 896HD and now an 8Pre. The 896HD has clock I/O but the 8pre does not.

How would I clock these two units using a Black Lion clock?

I just bought a used 8Pre and plan to use it with my 896HD for a total of 16 inputs.

I plan to hook them together using optical cables.

I'm using XP and SONAR 8.5 Producer.

Any things to look out for as I try to get them to play nice together?

Ken, I found the sp2.cab folder and got the recommended files from it. I tried the fix and when I get to the point of re-installing the drivers at Device Manager, I point to the 1394_fix folder I created (with the drivers in it) but the driver install thing doesn't see anything in the folder except ...
