At this point I feel like my only option is to sell both the 828mkII and the 896HD and find a product from another manufacturer which will install in my DAW with minimal problems.
My 828mkII worked flawlessly for about 8 months then when I installed the 896HD, neither will now work.
In Device Manager the 896HD shows up with an exclamation mark. When i click on Properties, it says:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
But when I click on Driver Details, it says:
Provider: Mark of the Unicorn
File Version: 3.6.7.0
Copyright: Copywrite(c)2001-2006
Digital Signer: Not digitally signed
Also, it indicates the driver files are located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\MotuFWA.sys I verified this file is at this location.
I have uninstalled/installed drivers, hardware...everything I can think of, countless times!
Any ideas?
