My apologies - I'm actually running a Mac Pro, not a G5 as I stated earlier. The dropouts also get more and more frequent the longer I run. Seems to be a firewire thing, as the keyboard I have plugged directly into the 828mkII never drops out.

I am having a very similar problem - frequent audio dropouts related to FW, and I am also using a G5 with an 828mkII and a Glyph FW GT062. I'd be very interested to hear how this plays out, since it makes working impossible. Thanks!

Hi, I am running an 828mkII with an MTP-AV USB and a Presonus Eureka with digital A/D card installed. I've been having some issues with this setup, so I was just wondering what would be the best way to sync everything up with DP5. I am running a MacPro desktop system, if it matters. Thanks! -Tim

Same thing with mine. Started happening when I added a Eureka and updated mac OSX to 10.4.11 - I'm running a MacPro with DP 5.11. It's also happened in the past, but not for a while until today. Hooray!
