How to sync?

Hi, I am running an 828mkII with an MTP-AV USB and a Presonus Eureka with digital A/D card installed. I've been having some issues with this setup, so I was just wondering what would be the best way to sync everything up with DP5. I am running a MacPro desktop system, if it matters. Thanks!
