In what application is the song you need to import recorded? Sonar, Cubase and protools all have support for OMF. For protools you need digitranslator though.

i recently had to do just about the same thing. I had 12 songs each containing 50-60 tracks... First i imported all tracks to the soundbites window. Sounds good. I was thinking of using a second G5 for virtual instruments and plugins. Do you think it would be possible to send audio through wormhole to the second computer and use for instance altiverb on that computer and send it back to my "main" computer again? What about latency?
