Re: DP MIDI Editor Question
Oh, sorry, yes I know which button you are referring to. Yes, I have that disabled. Still when I move and edit point on the line, and say try to move it down, it creates a step as opposed to just slanting down in an angle relative to the next edit point that I am not moving. Attached is a picture of...

Re: DP MIDI Editor Question
Thank you so much for your reply. It means a lot.
By keyframes I meant those dark circles on the lines that enable you to move them up and down.
How do I check if I have quantization engaged?
I will definitely check out the tips section for this.

DP MIDI Editor Question
Hello, Have a basic question. I own DP7 and when in MIDI editor window and editing volume or other controller in 'Line' mode, I cannot move the key frames without them creating stair like break points. Do I have to disable/enable something so I can make smoother edits that can look like sine waves. ...

Need advise on upgrading my Mac computer
Hello All, I have been using a G4 Quicksilver all these years with 3 internal HDs supporting DP, Colossus, Ivory, Reason, Kontakt, Stylus and Garratin Orchestra. I have Ivory running out of its own HD but had everything else pretty much on the same HD as the main OS. I know that is a weak configurat...

Re: Question about DP Audio files
Dear FMiguelez, Thank you so much for taking the time for your detailed response. I understand a lot better now. Regarding the last question I posted, I record a MIDI sound from my external keyboard. Once recorded I add a stereo track and just record the MIDI in stereo. When done, I looking to see i...

Question about DP Audio files
Dear Board Users, I have some learning to do and I need your help. I have a DP project in which I recorded live guitars. Guitars were recorded in 48.1 kHz in the studio. When I brought them home for edit, because I am using 5.11 and my sound card is older I need to convert audios to 44.1 kHz. As one...

The project was recorded at 48K and I used the soundbites sample coversion to bring it down to 44.1. Now the sample rate value on DPs control panel is constantly flipping between 44.1 and 48 kHz. I checked the soundbites window and it shows that all tracks were successfully converted to 44.1. Not su...

Audio track trimming not allowed
Hello All - Need some help. Still learning on how to edit audio tracks and as I am working on one, noticed that I cannot resize audio tracks horizontally (left or right) or extend a particular audio take timewise...the cursor options indicate that the function is not allowed (a stop sign type). But ...

Separating overlaying Audio tracks automatically?
Hello Forum - I wanted to know if there is an automatic or easy way of overlaying separating audio tracks onto individual tracks. You know when recording audio takes on the same track, each take basically sits on top of the previous take on the same track. Now that I want to sit down to sift through...

Do not have a mixer set in Reason
Did not create any mixer in Reason. All Reason instruments are routed via the same Aux track in DP (Mix Reason 1R-2L). However I then open a DP MIDI track to set it to the appropriate Reason instrument.

Multi-instruments in Reason not playing in DP
Hello Everyone, Under re-wire mode I can assign a reason instrument to a DP MIDI track (have a DP AUX track open to route all Reason output) and can hear and record it fine. When I load a new instrument in Reason, assign it to channel 2 and set it to another MIDI track in DP, I can't hear the new Re...

Nice job!
Great sounds...great composition and movement...both versions sound great but I believe with the commentary and visuals together the overall impact is more fascinating.
Keep it up.

Basic MIDI channel assignment question
Hi All, I can hear, record and play back but only one track from my Korg keyboard on DP at this time (trintiyv3-1 channel). When I go to Project->add track-> MIDI track and assign a new patch to trinity v3-2 channel, I do not hear that sound. Thus at this time, I can only hear the patches that are g...
