What are the additional controls just above the track names? The latest driver/update provided by Motu for my piece [896HD] doesn't have these available.

I have a short 10 second clip inserted on a track in the Sequence Editor. I use the 'loop tool', drag over the track -- and play. no luck.

How does this work?

I use DP to edit/master radio/broadcast audio programs. I have a window layout that I set up and saved that works for me. Why is it if I launch a 'new' project, and I choose my custom window layout, all the presets for the tracks and other pre-configured parameters in the mixer dont remain constant?...
