I use DP to edit/master radio/broadcast audio programs. I have a window layout that I set up and saved that works for me. Why is it if I launch a 'new' project, and I choose my custom window layout, all the presets for the tracks and other pre-configured parameters in the mixer dont remain constant?
For example, I have about 10 tracks set up both stereo and mono with inputs/outputs set accordingly. When I launch this window set in a new project, the mixer parameters need to be re-configured.
Am I missing something?

Saving a window configuration isn't the same as saving track parameters, etc. Try saving the setup you want as a new template and check the box to use it as a default template.
