Update: After a restart, I can run M5-2 in standalone mode, but still getting a "crashed validation" in Logic Pro?

M5-2 and Mountain Lion
I just installed Mountain Lion and found out (the hard way) that MachFive V2 is not working with ML. Is anyone using V2 with ML, or do I have to upgrade to V3?
Thanks for any help.
Setup:
Macbook Pro
8GB Ram
Logic Pro 9.1.7
MachFive 2

Star Drums?
Does anyone know if the instrument "Star Drums" in M5V3 comes with any stock MIDI files (patterns) like SD2 does?

Re: Mach 5 in Logic Express 8?
Also the "HAL, MAS, VST" folders should be inside the "./Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/" folder alongside with the "Components" folder. That is exactly the case. I will do another custom install, per your instruction, just for spits and giggles, too see what happens. Maybe Lo...

Re: Mach 5 in Logic Express 8?
OK. I do have M5 listed as AU in the "components" folder, yet there is only "HAL, MAS, VST" folders listed under "components" folder? Shouldn't there be a "AU" folder also, and for that matter a RTAS? But, it's been working as RTAS in PT? I must be missing som...

Re: Mach 5 in Logic Express 8?
OK. Quite possibly, I only installed the RTAS of both Mach5 and I also have Ethno. That's what's showing up in my Protools Plug in folder. Now my questions are: 1. If I do a custom (re)install of Mach 5, only loading AU version, will it change anything in my Protools setup? 2. After new install, how...

Re: Mach 5 in Logic Express 8?
I believe I did install the AU version and NOT mas. I've been using M5 in Protools for years.
Is there an easy way to check? Are there different folders in M5 for the different plug versions?
I guess I'm typing out loud and being lazy since I'm not at my computer!
I will check.
Thanks for the post.

How can I import/use Mach 5 V2 in Logic?
It did the "scan" of my drives when I installed, but I don't see it.
Thanks in advance.

"Favorite's" folder?
I have a project coming up and would love to make a "fav folder" of the samples I would like to use. Is there a way to drag n drop samples (programs) from one folder to this new folder. Is this possible in M5? I would prefer it NOT actually remove the sample from folder 1, just make a dupl...
