I get the crashes from the channel strip as well. It will crash consistently every time I touch it in the CW if there's a lot going on in the mix. Seems to work okay with simple mixes though. Just though I'd warn you - before you update to DP7 - if you use Vocalign with DP6 a lot. (I did.) It is presently broken / disabled in DP7.02 - and will hopefully be fixed in the next update. It would be like if MOTU decided to leave pitch correction out of DP and leave that to a 3rd party software designer and not worry about having it integrated into DP.
