Motu Drivers and Tiger Performance

Since I updated to Tiger and DP4.61, my G5 can't handle nearly as much processing. I'm getting system overload messages all the time, which I never got with Panther and DP4.1. Any other parameters I can look at? I tried both the new Firewire and Audio drivers.
