Because of the PCI issue on the the new quad, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience using the RME Fireface firewire interface. I need 2 separate optical ins and outs, so the 828 wasn't cutting it.
Thoughts?

I'd like to know also... Right now I'm using a Tascam 1082, and/or 828MKII and am having trouble with latency when eDrumming with BFD and Ivory going....
I've heard that the RME FireFace 800 has the lowest latency...
