While waiting for key switching in MachFive 2-Synful Orch
While waiting for key switching (forever) in MAchFIve 2, I have discovered a great VR program called Synful Orchestra. They have a demo so you can try it out. You have to give it a bit of time to get used to it but it is really much more expressive and flexible and more real sounding than any sampler I've tried. The solo violin is especially good. Samplers are still great and very useful for a lot of things of course. Synful orchestra is not a complete orchestra but you probably already have lots of other samples. Just make sure you turn the Delay for Expression button off when you play or record and turn it on when you playback. No, I'm not a share holder, just want to help you make better music and have fun doing it.

I am also using it. When layered with other string, brass, and wind samples the program really adds life to the samples. It is a free download to check it out for 21 days and it works great in DP. I REALLY like the program! It has made writing so much quicker for me.
