I've opened a MIDI file in DP 4.61. Using Mach5, I've opened a Giga file of a clarinet. Forte is very hot, as if I recorded an audio track way too loud, but, of course, this is a MIDI file not a recording.
I've adjusted volume knobs, adjusted levels in the editors and the signal is still too hot. There doesn't seem to be any reason for the hot signal.
Any ideas?
thanks

Man, except for adjusting the volume knob for the clarinet part in the Mach 5 GUI, what else could it be?
