Peavey PSM-2 Boundary Mics

Anyone have or ever use these mics. The secretary in my school brought them to me and told me to hold on to them. I don't know what their intended use was for but I was thinking about giving them a whirl at home. Time isn't very plentiful these days so I thought I would see if anyone had anything to say about them.

I did a search on yahoo but didn't get too much, I know they sold for about 220 each.

Although used for live sound, conferencing, etc.... a VERY nice application for boundary mics include under neath a drum-kit to grab some of the harmonics.

Thats exactly what I was thinking..... I am going to try it like a stereo overheads, except on the floor. Maybe one under the floor tom and one under the snare\hat
