Powerbook 7200rpm internal drive

Post by Macinbowl »

I'm thinking in upgrading my 1.25 PB with an internal 7200rpm. Does anyone know a brand? I've heard of Hitachi drive but did'nt find any...

Any advise? :?

The Hitachi Travelstar, which you mentioned and the Seagate Momentus are the only two I know of. While my PB has the stock Toshiba 5400 (which has died once and been replaced, I mean I did *drop* it, but hey...), I have several Seagate drives in my G4 tower and an external FW, all of which have been incredibly reliable.

Cheers,
