Sample Loop options

I've been using an Akai S5000 for live use and want to use M5. I've imported my programs and samples. The program info regarding loop type etc didn't transfer across and it seems like there's no way to select sample in release and all those other sample options avaiable in hardware samplers. Can this be true or am I missing something?? I want to be able to fire a sample with a pad and it just keep looping until I hit the pad again - simple enough, anyone out there savvy with this
