I had been using VEP with DP for years with no problem. Now, Im using DP 11, VEP 7 with a Mac Master and two Mac Support computers. The same computers as before. The Support computers had and still have Monterey. The Master has Sequoia. The Sequoia is new. I have the same switch and router. Then I moved to a new studio location - 50 feet from the old location.
Now I am being plagued by disconnections between my Master and Support computers. The router is located in the original location - 50 - feet away and ethernet routed to the new location. The switch is local.
If I connect all computers to the switch, the disconnect problem occurs - whether the router is connected to the switch or not. If I connect the Master directly to a support computer, no problem.
I've been in touch with VSL support. They say it sounds like a switch/router problem. I've tried a new, fast switch. No change.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Disconnect Issues with VEP 7
Sequoia 15.4 has had a few issues including networking. Try the 15.4.1 update and see if that is still an issue.
Ethernet cables do go bad now and then.
