I am using Mach V 1.2.3 and trying to convert a Roland disc. Everytime I get my G4 to see the disc (after hitting the magic "ignore" button) and I go to select patches to be converted, Xtract unexpectedly shuts down and I get that charming window "has unexpectedly quit....."
Any ideas on this? Has any one else had frequent crashing on attempting to convert?
I have opened Xtract as a stand alone and from within DP and it responds the same each time.
Thanks!
Shawn

Still quitting
OK -
I uninstalled Mach V - then reinstalled from the disc. I was able to get one of my Roland discs to load, was able to say "ignore" then saw the list of patches, samples, etc to merge/convert. I selected one patch, got as far as the primary "options" window for where to place it and........ Xtract unexpectedly quit - again.
I had run Xtract as stand alone during this.
I may now try upgrading to the next version of Mach V from MOTU and try it all again. Perhaps its this boat anchor of a G4.....that is causing the problems.
