11.3 makes me nervous. Where can I download an installer for DP 11.2?

Post by BatBoySings »

I just got a new MacBook Pro miraculously loaded with Sonoma and not Sequoia (whew). I hear 11.3 has issues with Sonoma, so I'm looking for a link to download a (slightly) older installer? The MOTU website offers 11.31, but if you Google a bit you can find links to their download pages for 11.02 and 11.03. Anyone have a link to a 11.2 or 11.22? Thanks very much!

MOTU only keeps stable releases in the Downloads page. 11.32 is quite stable over Sonoma 14.7.

What Mike said. DP 11.32 is very stable.

However, if want you can actually download older versions of Digital Performer directly from MOTU. Here's a direct link to page that will have have 11.22 on it:

https://motu.com/en-us/download/product ... rue&page=2

Just to make it clear, if you go to the DP product download page:
https://motu.com/en-us/download/#category=5&product=489

Look for the "View All Downloads" button on the left under the picture of the "DP product box." Then scroll to the bottom of the next page and you'll see there are six pages of downloads. Click the "NEXT" button to the lower right and you'll go back several versions of DP11.

Sweet! Much appreciated guys! Do you find 11.32 is faster as well as more stable than 11.22? Thanks!

It seems stable for me. I think it may depend if you’re on Intel or Apple Silicon. For sure IMHO if you’re in the latter group.

I’ve been good with 11.32 under Sonoma. 11.32 fixed several issues relating to MIDI Note dragging but gave rise to a new one in which certain Waves plugins don’t display metering properly . This issue is resolved by running affected plugins “in real time when plugin window is open” an option available in plugin mini menu. MOTU and Waves have replicated this, so a fix should be forthcoming
