Ny MTP AV was running just fine. Made sure all the cables were snug and now the unit is no longer recognized in the Audio MIDI Setup. It sits there greyed out. I have reset the unit a number of times. I also downloaded and reinstalled the latest MOTU MIDI installer. And my chip is 2.0.1 Just cannot get it recognized. And it wads running just fine a few days ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Have you tried replacing the battery inside it? It’s not a cure all but it wouldn’t cost much to get a new battery and give it a shot.rosindabow wrote:Ny MTP AV was running just fine. Battery is pretty new, replaced it a couple of years ago.

Re: MTP AV USB no longer being recognized by my Apple Silicon Mac Pro
I mentioned some of of this in yesterday's thread on this subject.
You will need to remove all MOTU drivers and possibly all other 3rd party audio and MIDI drivers. Once done, there are Apple Security settings to be reset on the Repair/Recovery drive. This one is for Apple Silicon,
https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-hel ... 8f7291/mac
To enter the Partition on an Intel Mac, shut down. Boot holding the Command r keys and go from there.
Once that is done, the MIDI drivers can be reinstalled and added to the Security settings within 30 minutes. When MIDI is working, then any audio drivers can be reinstalled.
Everything else you need to know is in this thread. You may have to read all 4 pages.
