Even with Snapping off, in the Sequence and MIDI tabs, when I double click on a time location I want to move the Wiper, it often jumps to the left / earlier in time than the time location on which I double clicked.
This is intermittent. Some times the Wiper goes to where I double clicked, but about half the time the wiper jumps left of where I double-clicked.
The amount it jumps seems proportional to the Zoom level of the track - about a third of the visible section. So, it can be a second or two to ten or fifteen seconds.
This doesn’t happen in the Tracks tab, where it works as expected reliably. I don’t use the other Tabs.
Does this happen to anybody else? It’s been in DP for a LONG time, going back to version 9 or earlier, and it happens on both of my computers.
I’ve scoured the Settings, but don’t see an option, and can’t think of a time when this would EVER be desirable behavior.

Re: WIper jumping
Have pretty much the same setup as you for recording, except an earlier OS version and I’ve never seen this. A wild guess: looks like you have two versions of DP installed. There are reports where installing one version causes some errors in a version installed earlier.

Re: WIper jumping
I deleted all my DP apps, and reinstalled 11.32. Then, opened several projects to test. I tried to get the Wiper to jump to the wrong spot, but so far, it hasn't.bayswater wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:52 pm Have pretty much the same setup as you for recording, except an earlier OS version and I’ve never seen this. I was hanging on to 11.23 because 11.31 and 11.32 had been crashing consistently on Bounce, whereas 11.23 was not. I suspect now that may have been due in part or whole to using an early alpha build of Synthmaster 3. The current build is beta. I tried three Bounces of with several instances of SM3 present, and there were no crashes on Bounce. So, I suppose it's All Systems Go with just the one latest version of DP installed.
Thanks so much!
