Failed To Personalise the software update. Please try again
With macOS15 just over the horizon, I'm under the weather and have a bit of down time, so I decided to update to Sonoma. Ran into this:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/25 ... ortBy=best
Apple Support "assures" me that a macOS reinstall will fix it, but the linked thread has me wondering... Anyway, running a new TM backup to NVMe SSD now so I can try this without waiting forever for my TM backup on a hard drive when I restore.
Any thoughts?

Did you do the update through Software Update, or did you used a standalone installer? Perhaps try the other approach?

Hope all works well, but after reading the same solutions over and over again I ran across this article which is worth documenting and bookmarking here:

In my case, the Apple directive (reinstall macOS) worked. I'm now downloading Sonoma.

Good news! There seems to be a lot of different causes for this error and as many solutions. Phew!

OK... Sonoma installed and DP seems happy. Thanks to all the lionhearted souls who preceded me in making the leap.

Welcome to Sonoma! Shouldn't there be some Chardonnay around here?

I'd much prefer a Pinot.

You might need some Gatorade, to help rehydrate after all that nervous sweating!

Just updated DP to 11.32. Feeling Groovy!
Re: Failed To Personalise the software update. Please try again
In all seriousness, I'm curious how Sonoma and Kontakt are doing with the latest 7.10.5. That always seems to be a stumbling block.

Extensive testing not done, but I've played around and encountered no issues with latest build of Kontakt, DP 11.32 and Sonoma 14.5.
