Hello,
Is it possible to interconnect two Mac computers through an AVB interface like the 24Ao? The interface would be connected to one computer with an Ethernet cable and to the other with a USB cable.
So the idea is to send audio between the computers more than sharing the interface to send audio elsewhere.
Thank you for helping.

Re: AVB - USB + Ethernet: one interface, two computers?
So I have one computer connected to a 24Ao with a USB cable. The second computer is connected to the interface with an Ethernet cable.
On the second computer, I can detect the Interface and the computer itself as AVB devices in the AVB configuration app. I set both devices to use "IEC 61883-6 AM8-24 48kHz 8 data blocks non-blocking 8 MBLA".
However when I click on the icon of each device in the ATDECC Controller window, each device detects its own inputs/outputs only. They don't seem to see each other.
Also, I can't get anything appear in the Virtual Audio Entity window. Nor can I have any device appear in the AudioMIDI config app / network devices.
What's wrong?

Re: AVB - USB + Ethernet: one interface, two computers?
I would make a support ticket at MOTU and ask them. My gut tells me these devices weren't designed to do that?
