So the vast majority of DP work I've done has been on MacOS but in this case I went backwards to 9.52 on an older Dell PC where I re-installed Win10 on a new SSD after the old main drive crashed a few months back. This PC has a FW400 board installed and I'm using a Presonus SL16.4.2 mixer/interface. All is good with that but I'm getting the dreaded "Some MIDI assignments could not be found blah blah...".
I've seen this happen in the past on my Macs but the problem was easy to identify and resolve. In this case I can't imagine why there'd be any MIDI assignments to begin with, this is a fresh install on a new HD and I'm not likely to even use any MIDI on this machine for what I plan to do.
It's complaining about a PSR-530 which is some old Yamaha thing. I don't remember ever even having one of those!
Any ideas, similar experience or knowledge from the group would be greatly appreciated!

Re: MIDI Configuration, What MIDI Configuration?
Did you upgrade to Win 10 or a fresh install?
Have a look at the device manager.
Delete whatever old MIDI devices etc that you are not using..
Regards.
