Hi, my dp8 which worked perfectly on my macbook pro (os 12.5.1)asked me yesterday to enter the keycode at the opening... After having entered it, dp is blocked... So I erased it to reinstall it but unfortunately I get the following message when installing,"L'installation a échoué.
Le programme d'installation a rencontré une erreur qui a provoqué l'échec de l'installation. Contacter l'éditeur du logiciel pour obtenir de l'aide."
Please help me because I am very annoyed and without solution.

Hmm, need more info.
I just tried installing 8 on a new M1 with 12.5.1 and it wouldn't do it.
On my 2014 MBP that's updated to APFS format under 10.13.6 I have to enter the key code every time the computer is restarted.

Shot it in the dark, but perhaps the authorization isn't compatible with APFS? I would assume APFS was not in use when DP8 was released. Time to send MOTU a few bucks to upgrade perhaps?

What James and Doug have already posted. Not only is the DP 8 installer incompatible with Monterey but, if you were able to get it installed, it would ask for your serial number every time you rebooted or restarted.Installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software publisher for assistance."
It's time to upgrade Digital Performer.
A heads-up: DP 11.11 handles MIDI differently — you have an option of keeping the old way and you will see a message about that.
