DP11 crashes when using MOTU896HD & 828 Mk2

I have an 896HD and 828 MkII with Black Lion Word Clock & DP8 that I've been using for years with zero issues from my Intel Hackintosh with an older version of macOS.
Recently I got the top end MacBook Pro 16" with M1 Max CPU, and macOS 12. I installed Logic Pro and MOTU Audio drivers, hooked up my 896 and 828 via Firewire plus three(!) adapters, and created an aggregate device in Audio MIDI Setup that has both interfaces. They work 100% perfect in Logic Pro, which I wanted to try out since it was only $199.
However after messing around with Logic for quite awhile, I just... honestly... loathe it. It is simply lacking so many things that I am accustomed to using in DP that I'm not willing to give up, especially Sequences and Chunks.
So I bought the DP11 upgrade and installed it. The MOTU Audio control panel shows the 896HD and 828 Mk 2 are connected.
However, unfortunately, when I open my band's main template project (which works perfectly on the DP8 Hackintosh with the exact same 896 & 828 mk 2), a few seconds after the project window shows up on-screen, DP11 crashes.
The same project opens fine if those two interfaces aren't connected.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I realize these two interfaces are not officially supported, but I still consider this a bug because there's no excuse for DP11 to simply crash. At worst it should show an error message saying that the selected audio interfaces are incompatible with DP11. It should not allow the user to select those interfaces, then crash.
Let me know if anyone is aware of this issue and if so, whether perhaps there might be a workaround. Thanks.
