MOTU ADAT questions / MOTU 828 MKII and 828 X

I am a very confused and I have some doubts regarding the ADAT configuration between a MOTU 828 MKII and a MOTU 828 X, in which I have only one ADAT cable connected, so the 828 X would be the slave and MKII the satelite according to the specifications of this article.

However although I have managed to communicate the two interfaces following the instructions of the article above, in the CueMix of the 828 X, I can see the ADAT optical A and optical B, but when I connect a sitetizador in the inputs of the 828 MKII, I get no sound in the 828 X although I see how the leds turn on in the MKII...

What am I doing wrong or what do I need to connect or configure? should I connect the Main Outs of the MKII or something like that? Isn't the 828 MKII supposed to function as an expansion? :shock: :?
