Hello guys!
first post here, just found out this forum and glad to be here.
I'd like to ask few questions about setting Zoom with Motu 828ES(or other AVB interface).
I set up Zoom, both in & out set to motu 828ES, and thing is I can communicate with students without any problem using Microphone (connected to MIc input 1), also playback music(Itunes, youtube) works fine.
But when I turn on "Keyscape" to demonstrate, Students can't hear the keyscape sound, whatever setting I do they can't hear.
so I have to turn on Logic or other DAW and load keyscape as vst and set DAW's output to ZOOM DEVICE, it works but I hear(and feel) massive latency even though I set to buffer as 32.
any ideas? I'd love to keep using Zoom since it's provided by School that I teach but this latency problem stop me to demonstrate properly.
Let me know.
Best,
Kyumin

Re: Zoom(for online music class) setting with 828ES problem
Zoom is often an enigma to me.
That said, given the fact Mic 1 is working properly for you, try assigning the Output of Keyscape (directly or thru your DAW) to an Input of the AVB Mixer and feeding it to Zoom therefrom. I am assuming the AVB Mixer output is already taking care of routing your Mic 1 to Zoom; if this is the case, the proposed approach may just work!

Re: Zoom(for online music class) setting with 828ES problem
Zoom uses Computer Audio (their term for system audio) or the Zoom audio driver. What to use and when depends on your setup. The links I used to post in threads like this are way out of date.
Zoom is somewhat of a moving target still. If you can use system audio, it makes your life easier and your application is more upgrade resistant from Zoom.
If you have to use the Zoom driver, it works best at 48k. Mac and Win setups are different.
