Need Help Comping various tracks

Post by MarkMohr »

I've recorded 10 - 15 vocal tracks all on different tracks and want to comp. them. I can't find an online tutorial after 2012 or anything that works since I'm working with different tracks, NOT different takes. Please help. Praying this is easy.

It would take a few minutes to prep, but you could create a new track, then create 10-15 takes in that track and copy and paste your existing tracks into those takes. From there you can use the comp tool the usual way.

I don't know in what version this became an option, but it works in DP 10.11.

In the SE window, select the desired tracks.
In the pull-down menu on the left, go to Take>Absorb Selected Tracks.
