DSD 11+ MHZ IO by RME released. When by MOTU?

Post by Timeline »

FYI - This half width DAC has a smokin clock but the unit cost is 2K. ADI-2 Pro FS R.
I really wish MOTU would build one we can buy for remix. I know its time for this level of quality audio recording. Come on MOTU guys! Can you believe they used a wall wart plug? MOTU could add features like soft clip, full rack mount with instrument input and effects (my choice), CF card slot and mastering features. My Tascam SD3000 is good but can't do 11+mhz, only 5+ not that thats bad but... you know I'd buy anything that goes to eleven. (snare-crash)

If you haven't tried DSD yet you have a playback treat in store. My mixes from DP10 direct to PCM/DSD sound great and identical to source. Mastering houses are getting hooked up too. IMHO this will be our future remix goto so why is MOTU dragging their feet?
