iLOK tech support? How to actually get in contact?
I need to communicate with anyone at iLOK and can't find a way. I just changed computers.

They don't do telephone support if that's what you're asking for. If you work your way through their support page you can submit a ticket. https://www.ilok.com/#!support

Re: iLOK tech support? How to actually get in contact?
I haven't even been able to load the site for about 4 years.
Hasn't been a problem until recently when I received the free MH Dirty Delay promo from AudioDeluxe. Instead of automatically sending my licence to iLock as mobs such as Slate do, I have to manually enter it there; it can't be done within the iLock client. Only problem is I can't load any page on the site, let alone register anything. AD is talking to MH for me and it's dragged out a little, but fingers crossed.
Obviously contacting iLock support is impossible.
Yes, I have tried "everything" short of using a different browser, which would offer no guarantees anyway. I refuse to go down the alternate-browser rabbit hole. Safari has served me very-well for 18+ years and I'm more than happy with it.

I had success with the ticket process when I changed conputers.

Changing computers should not be a problem when all licenses are on the dongle. Load the latest version of iLok app, log in load your dongle and you're good. Piece of cake when I did it last week—all my licenses stay on my v.2 dongle.
If you have licenses on the old Mac and it still functions, you can retrieve them and put them back into your account. You can also put them on an attached dongle registered to you if you have one that's compatible and has enough room. Version 2 licenses can't be installed on a v.1 dongle last I checked.
If you are missing a dongle with licenses or the old Mac/PC no became no longer available before you retrieved your licenses, that's not good and you'll have to go through support.
You may be able to go to the original companies, explain what happened and see if they'll issue you another license.
I remember when I bought MachFive. There were different processes for registering my iLok licenses from MOTU and UVI for the bonus plugs and effects. MOTU was easy and UVI was a PIA — as I recall, there were problems with the CD/DVDs and I coudn't download till my iLok dongle had everything right. Sheesh!

Yea, iLok probably can't help you there, only the distributor (AD) or the manufacturer.Hasn't been a problem until recently when I received the free MH Dirty Delay promo from AudioDeluxe. Are you still using that 300 BAUD dialup?

Re: iLOK tech support? How to actually get in contact?
It's ADSL2, but yeah, not much over 300k on a good day.
I actually had only dialup from 2001 to circa 2012, and I was lucky if I got 5k out of that. Usually it peaked at around 3.5k.
Good news in the pipeline 'though Stoivo:
The copper network's being disconnected in my neighbourhood in a couple o' months and I'll have no choice but to switch to the national fibre-optic network. My landline 'phone (all I can use) will apparently hook up to the modem as well. I'll have to go for the cheapest plan, which will cap my speed at around 10 megabits/s, but can you imagine how shocked I'll be if indeed I manage to get this sort of speed? That peak speed is what, 33 times faster than I get now?

The downside is you have to learn to type and read 33 times faster.monkey man wrote:That peak speed is what, 33 times faster than I get now?
