DP1O DEMO BUGS

Post by Timeline »

Using Spectral to pitch change creates a bite that does not allow crossfades over existing audio. In other words, It does not play nice with existing audio.

I use Spectral all the time. Called MOTU. The tech watched me demo the bug in real time. Will see what happens.

Yeah, there seems to be several glitches with crossfades in DP10. This is one of the main reasons I’m mostly working in 9.52 still. Looking forward to the update.

Have not noticed issues on existing audio, only on audio created by Spectral.

I different issue I reckon, but pre and post crossfades are gone in 10, and are said to be fixed in the next update.

They must have already fixed it in the current demo then. I'm sure then they will get to my bug soon. I will re-download the demo in a week or so and see where we are.

Yep. I’m mastering a project and applying post fades. Back to 9.52 for now. No biggie for me. Yet.

Noop. MOTU has not yet updated DP10....I'm sure ready for it. It's been a couple months now since it was released.

It seems all sound bites created using, "Apply Plugin" from the pull down menu are also included in this bug.

I noticed in trim that if you highlight a bite before you select trim the apply button disappears. You must open trim first. This is new.

And has it always been that when you highlight a bite to set bite gain it ignores the highlight but instead selects the entire soundbite its attached to for the level trim. This has got to be wrong. It should apply the equivalent of command Y and then only modify that highlight section.
So, thats messed up IMHO too.
