Repeatable screen redraw bug - DP 10

Post by MIDI Life Crisis »

You'll have to click on the large image and open it into a new window to see it all, but if the transport is stopped and I scroll forward or backward with the trackpad (and presumably a mouse), the screen doesn't redraw correctly.

Weird! Never saw THAT before DP10.

Whoa. That IS weird. Only in the ME? ...can you drag and audition the notes in their psychedelic state?

Hmm, can't seem to duplicate it on my setup. I wonder if it's machine/OS specific, or maybe a track pad issue. :?

Great question I hadn't thought about. I can and that immediately fixes the window (until i scroll again). Yes, only in the ME so far. Thanks for helping me find the temp fix.

I'v moved the screen to each of my 3 monitors and it's always the same. I suppose it could be machine/OS specific.

Techlink is at MOTU.

Wow, I haven't seen that. When you scroll, are you dragging on the scrollbar handle at the bottom of the window, or just free-scrolling over the window itself?

Free scrolling. Using the scroll bar I get the expected (normal) results.

I can't reproduce that either. It would be interesting if it sounded the way it looks.

I am pleased to be able to say (but not pleased for you, MLC) that I am free scrolling with a trackpad and that is not happening.

I've also had some screen redraw issues with Finale 26. It's not happening in DP 9. The 2013 trash cans did have a graphics card problem and the card (B slot) was replaced. It's always somethin'!

Thanks for testing it out, guys.

Not just you... I'm experiencing similar effects randomly. Even in the tracks window, occasionally there'll be a little displacement in parts of the bar lines so certain lanes may look like they are jostled a few pixels left or right. :?
