Is DP 9 Compatible with Mac OS Mojave?
Hello,
I'm using DP 9 with Mac OS 10.13.6 High Sierra. I've been holding off upgrading to Mac OS Mojave. But, I've run into a Time Machine problem that Apple says I need to upgrade to Mojave.
I'm using the latest version of DP 9. Based on your experiences, is it OK to upgrade to Mojave? Any compatibility issues with Mojave I should be aware of using DP 9?
Thanks!

You should probably have a look at what MOTU says on their site. I had 9.5.2 running on Mojave without any apparent issues.

9.52 is compatible.
9.51 may work if already installed but it is no longer available for download.

Re: Is DP 9 Compatible with Mac OS Mojave?
I'm running DP 9.52 on a trash can late 2013 mac pro using Mojave. This set up is all about a month old now but I'm having all sorts of strange problems. D.P. projects that open and then give me the unending spinning beach ball. Could someone tell me how to check the crash log again. Thanks

DP9.52 + Mojave 14.5 = Golden on my Mac Pro 5,1
Latest BFD3 caused crash on quit for me under Sierra and Mojave. Prior version is solid.

I'm quite certain that Mojave is the cause of some strange problems here. I don't think it has to do with D.P. 9.52 for me but I have problems with D.P. and Safari ever since I started using Mojave. Can anyone else chime in about this....?

Absolutely rock solid for me. There are issues with Melda plugins and others if the updates haven't been run. Check your plugins and make sure you have the latest & greatest.I'm quite certain that Mojave is the cause of some strange problems here.

I just installed Mojave and now my DP 8 will not even open. I’m thinking it has to do with jbridge and I’m working on a solution. It’s truly a pain though

JBridge will not wrap 32 bit to 64 in Mojave but it will still work to let you use 64 bit VSTs in 32 bit apps such as Band-in-a-Box 2018 and earlier.dpg4macman wrote:I just installed Mojave and now my DP 8 will not even open. 32Lives v.2 will create wrappers for 32 bit AUs and VSTs in Mojave (or High Sierra) but not in Catalina since there is no 32 bit support at all in OS 10.15. $99.
DP8 is going to ask you to re-enter your license info after every reboot. This was fixed in 9.5x. I have no idea if it works otherwise in Mojave.
It's time to rethink your setup and those old plugs you are using.

Or forget Mojave and Catalina for a while, esp Catalinamikehalloran wrote:It's time to rethink your setup and those old plugs you are using.

Re: Is DP 9 Compatible with Mac OS Mojave?
What a mistake I’ve made. I purchased a plugin from waves. I’m using El Capitan and DP8 and everything is good except the plugin I’ve just bought will not work in El Capitan. So, like an idiot I’m thinking I’ll just update my macOS - wrong choice! I’m going back to El Capitan and writing off my purchase price.
Thanks for the info,
