I just installed Yosemite on an internal drive, but not my main drive, just for a test run. (I cant use it because of software that it breaks, but that's another post.)
But, every time I start up now, my mac boots to the Yosemite disk and I have to re-choose the Mavericks disk. Talk about annoying!!!
Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks

I thought that having chosen the Mavericks disk using the option key during startup, that that choice would stick without having to do System Preferences>Startup Disk. Doh!
Live and learn.

Yep. As you now know, one must go back in and re-select the Startup Disk to have it default. This is still true in High Sierra and Mojave.
