I had always used my Main Counter set to count Bar Numbers, but for some reason it now defaults to SMPTE everytime I open or restart DP 9.02.
It's not a huge deal, but requires manually resetting the main counter everytime I open the program. I've looked through the manual and not been able to find the right setting.
Basically, I just want DP to remember that I prefer Main Counter set to Bars and Aux Counter set to SMPTE. Not sure why it changed, but I'm definitely missing something.

Always start new DP projects from a previously tweaked-to-taste template.
It (or they) can be as simple or elaborate as you want.

Re: Setting Main Counter Defaults
The problem I'm having is that the Counter defaults to SMPTE every time I open a project. I'll switch the Main Counter to Bars, restart, and it's set back to SMPTE.
This happens regardless of which project I'm opening. Trying to figure out why DP isn't saving that change.

Re: Setting Main Counter Defaults
How are you resetting the counter to show Measures? Are you simply selecting Measures from the drop down menu in the Transport?
If so, you probably need to invoke the Time Formats command (Setup Menu > Time Formats ).
If you're always starting your DP projects from the default "New", you might need to save it like this. But something tells me setting that Time Formats command would be enough. I just checked, and it works like that here.
