Post by p.pan »

Hi,

I buy a Macpro 5.1 (midlle 2010) two years ago…. I didn't use it… but I upgrade to 6 cores Intel Xeon 3.3GHz.
Actually os is El Capitan.

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB.
Ram: 16Gig of Ram 1333MHz.
SSD system 120GB Marvel.
3x Rotational HD WDC 1 Tera each.
1x Rotational HD ST 160GB.

I want to install:
1. DP 7.24.
2. Styllus.
3. Omnisphere 1.
4. Superior Drummer 2.
Want to buy Mach V3 and other VIs.

Please advice on this set up…..

Thanks a lot...

Although it’s no longer supported, DP 7.24 might install but why? DP 9 will run much better with greater efficiency and lower latency over El Capitan and is supported.

MachFive 3.2.1 won’t be a problem. As a stand alone app it’s 64 bit only but as a plug-in/instrument host, it’s 32/64 and will work with DP 7 or 9.
