Repeat and several tools in the toolbar are greyed out

Post by Soundhound242 »

Not sure what might be causing this? I'm trying to just repeat a region, and also change another to project tempo. I must have some settings set incorrectly? I checked toolbar in prefs and all the tools are chosen.

thanks!

Since we can't see your screen shot, settings or preferences, the normal first answer is to open the .pdf manual and search for all instances of Repeat. As you TAB or arrow (depending on the viewer you use) through, you might come across a page that shows exactly what you need to do.

There are times when this won't lead to the solution but if it does, a lot of time will be saved and you'll be back in the saddle.

Letus know one way or the other.

Thanks Mike, that's what I do actually, down to same process of tabbing through all the instances in the manual. I also subscribe to Groove 3 and MacProVideos, and search on Youtube too. Alas, I did't find an answer. I'm new to DP (in this century, I used Performer back in the stone age) so I'm guessing there are some fundamentals I'm not getting right. Thought I'd ask here to see if anything immediately obvious came to mind for anyone.

I'm including screen shots of the CW and the Preferences Window looking at Tools.

Thanks again.
