One task I find myself doing quite a lot is re-aligning the same fade shapes over and over.
I go back and forth between fade-outs and cross-fades all the time. I like to use an S-shaped fade out, and an standard, equal-power crossfade. But if I setup the S-shaped fade out, then I have to reset it for the equal-power x-fade and DP keeps applying the last fade-out shape to my next cross-fade shape.
I wish DP would REMEMBER my last fade-out shape only when I'm using a fade out, and remember my last x-fade shape every time I do a cross-fade. That would save me LOTS of time.
Any tips on this one? If not, I'll submit a feature request.
Thanks.

This is one of those things I think about only when using fades. I don't know much time it would save me but I agree it would be a nice feature. If the functionality is already there, I've never seen a way to implement it.stubbsonic wrote:One task I find myself doing quite a lot is re-aligning the same fade shapes over and over.

Yes, the ability to save and recall custom fade profiles would be an excellent addition!

I think custom presets would be useful too.
But I'd be happy even if it just remembered the last one I put in (kind of as it does now), but separately for each the different fade types (in/out/cross), I'd be much happier.
The tools in that curve maker are pretty versatile.
BTW, I did submit a feature request.
