single sample monophonic in a polyphonic part?
hi, is there any way to make a single sample monophonic (ie a one shot but if you hit it again it one shots from the start of the sample) yet keep other notes in the part polyphonic.i have drums set up in one part and don't want the hassle of seperating each instrument to a new part. Thanks

Make it the only member of the hi-hat group. When any sample in the hi-hat group is triggered it cuts off any sustaining samples that are also in the hi-hat group, including previously triggered samples on the same note.
Although, if you're already using the hi-hat groups for, well, your hi-hats, splitting it off into its own preset is the only other approach I can think of at the moment.

"I don't see any method at all, sir."

I don't know mach five's specifics but most saplers have "mute groups" where each sample in the defined "mute group" will cut off the previous so look into making a group with one sample.
