MACHFIVE

Post by Circuitt »

i got one more day to make a decision if i am going to be getting machfive version 1 that somebody bought last year,
for 200 bucks, they said they will transfer ownership, anyone know if thats even possable with mach five thats one year old.
also, is 200 bucks a good deal? i think i got a friend that might have batteryII/Kontact for like 100 bucks or so, but i don't get to put any of it in my name, like i would mach five...
anyways, any help on this matter would be very apreshated.

M5 is a great utility sampler, and there's lots going into the next iteration of the program.

If you're a sample edit freak, you'll be dismayed with the absolutely ATROCIOUS QA and beta testing going on with M5 on that level. As a simple playback engine, with light editting, it's a GREAT tool. Awesome features, fast, and it sounds damn good.

Just make sure you take the proper legal channels to acquire the software, as version 2 will be out later this year, and it will be a significant revision on the platform.

I'd take M5 over Kontakt/Battery ANY day of the week.
