MIDI playback inconsistency with Motu expressXT

I'm having a hard time trying to send accurate MIDI info to my external devices, I can send MIDI, but there are many missing or stuck notes, I've already tried different configurations inside Clockworks but nothing seems to work. At some point I thought the problem was with my sequencer (Logic 6.4) but I tried sending MIDI to my external devices from an M-audio (Firewire 410, 1 MIDI port) and it works flawlessly, so the problem must be with the Motu interface...any suggestions or ideas will be really appreciated.
