My situation is somewhat unique. I bought a seagate drive that comes out of the factory formatted to fat32. Not thinking, I plugged in the drive, which showed up on the desktop, and began organizing and copying files to it. Like a dummy I erased some of the projects from the other drives and before I could re-back them up, I accidentally turned the drive off. The usual message came up about "this firewire drive has been removed incorrectly and the drive and data could be harmed". Usually this doesn't happen but probably because I didn't format the drive to mac it did happen!!! I need to find a way to retreive those files or I am up the creek. Please anyone if have any ideas I welcome them.
Remember these are mac files on a fat32 formatted seagate. The drive shows up on a PC but says it needs to be formatted.
Thanks
